{hues}day :: turmeric + saffron

Now I realize I've already done a saffron color combo a while back, but truth be told, the idea for this edition of huesday came from this delicious blog… you see I'm half Iranian and am obsessed with Persian food (thankfully my hubby is an amazing cook, and manages to give my aunts a good run for their money).  And it was in trying to describe to my friends what type of food it was, that I stumbled upon some inspirational yummie goodness.

I'm totally a sucker for any shade of green,
and I must say I'm digging this color combo!
The invites are so crisp & fresh, love the untraditional mix of font sizes,
and you must see the chevron-lined envelopes… to die for.
Renting in Germany means my walls are all white,
but eventually we'll be back in the states and have a house all our own again…
It will be so exciting to be able to paint those suckers with some gorgeous shades…

up close & personal...

week five's post got pushed a little due to ohhhhh just a week long vacation in a sweet little spot in the south of france… and it was gorgeous and much needed!
